Studio Etiquette
Please be respectful while waiting for your class & allow the class prior to exit before stationing yourself at an apparatus.
For your safety please do not try any moves that have not been instructed by TCA staff.
Please stick to the class content that is being instructed and save other skills you’d like to train for open practise time.
It is important that you complete the class as a whole, cool down is important to minimise injury. If you need to leave during class-time please speak directly with your instructor before doing so.
Please ensure that you pay attention in class and avoid being on your cell phone while your instructor is demonstrating or instructing.
If you wish to film please be respectful and ensure that you do not capture other students unless consent is given prior.
Do not try on or wear dance gear, including heels, that is not yours unless permission has been given prior.
Please do not 'spot' or instruct other students without your instructors approval.
Only students in the studio please. To keep all students and instructors safe and comfortable do not invite friends or children to wait in the student area during adult classes.
Please remove all rings, bracelets and watches before class.
To keep our equipment safe, please do not wear clothing with metal buttons or zips.
Please help us keep the studio tidy and avoid touching the mirrors.
Please remember to wipe down your pole/mat and pack away any equipment used at the end of class.
For H&S reasons, please place all bags & personal belongings in the student area to keep the studios clutter free during classes.
Please avoid applying body lotion or tan on the same day as class.
If using i-tac ensure it is fully removed from the pole after use.
The carpeted gym area is available for members to use whenever adult classes are running. If you wish to use the aerial studio or pole studio ensure you have privately booked your studio hire.
Please ask instructors to adjust your rigging or change the poles to spin/static.
Do not use the aerial equipment without instructor supervision.
